From time to time, we sit and think where did we come from? where do we go? These and many other questions are normal for us to be thinking. In fact, I think it is healthy to think about all of these questions. Thoroughly, one at a time. Really doing a deep dive into history, theology and the rest. It can lead you to the Truth. No one can tell you the Truth! You must want to accept things, about yourself, others, the world... the list goes on. The change must come from within you, no one will change your mindset.
I'm here to introduce myself today as just another, Bible Believing Christian. A Baptist, I guess. It is hard to call myself anything but a Christian at this stage in my journey as I have not joined a church. I think joining a church is an important stage in becoming a Christian. We should congregate with other Christians and come together as one. I've been researching the three Bible Believing churches in my area, one was far too flashy and not what I think of when I consider congregation. I'm really just weighing out the pros and cons of the last two. I am roughly 80% on a small church, with a middle-aged/older pastor who seems to preach Bible. I will keep you all posted on the outcome, and my eventual Baptism. I really do have a yearning to be Baptized and to join a Christian Family!
So what will you find here at Awaken humanity?
The goal here is to share study tools, videos, articles, Christian news from around the world. Sermons, lectures, bible studies, and much more. The primary source here is the original King James, the 1611 version, however, we will be using materials and sharing content from individuals who may not agree with our views here at Awaken Humanity.
In most cases, we will give a summary of why we are using the specific content. If it is in question, we will give a fair warning and a disclaimer of why we are including it. We want to be sure you know what content you are receiving here. No surprises, No Tricks, No Gimmicks, Just Jesus!
